Location 1: Nichols Arboretum
I have spent a great amount of time in Nichols Arboretum over the years, coming for its beautiful landscapes and scenic running trails. It is a summer sanctuary, but often overlooked at the turn of each season, especially from winter to spring. I took advantage of its vast landscape, devoid of human noise, and decided to capture the true hidden treasures that lie within the arboretum.
Location 2: Starak Neighborhood
These images were taken in the neighborhood of which I live. Nature had recently brushed over a developing
landscape with snow, allowing for a contrast between the colors of the blooms of my favorite tree, and the dark ridges of a grand tree that marks the entrance to the woods. The blooms of the tree were always one of my favorite stages of its growth, and is incredibly rare to see the two, bloom and snow, combined next to each other.

Location 3: Barton Park
Barton park has enriched my life from providing me with great running tails, along with multiple late night adventures with my friends. The area around the dam is filled with interesting visuals, such as the unique frozen tree branches early in the morning on the left, to calming sit down sites such as the river landscape on the right. Barton provides this at all times of the day, and its uniqueness makes its one of my favorite parks in Ann Arbor.
Location 4: Foster Bridge
Foster Bridge is the bridge that crosses my route as I travel from my home to the city every day. Each time crossing is always taken slow, observing the beauty the view has to offer each morning. Unbelievably, these photos were taken when a blanket of snow covered the landscape over night on an early spring morning. This same spots are where I frequently travel to with my family to view vivid sunsets and sunrises, and it was interesting to see a new, unexpected, contrast emerge that morning.
Location 5: Maple Rd.
Maple Road is the main road that I travel when I leave my home to go to school or into the city. It runs through multiple fields of farmland where enchanting skylines and nature follow its path. I have walked this road many times as a child with my family, each time stopping to marvel at the latest sight provided by its surrounding lands.
